Detailed Features

• The stainless slide is paired with gold-accented details as part of the 250th Anniversary edition styling.
• The frame is steel, giving the pistol the weight and feel of a traditional 1911.
• The 5-inch barrel is the classic 1911 length, balancing carry and range use.
• It feeds from an 8-round magazine and uses standard 1911-pattern controls.

1911-pattern pistols in .45 ACP have a long following, and owners of import 1911s like the MC1911 generally judge them on fit and function against pricier US-made guns. Most report the pistol runs fine once it has some rounds through it to smooth the slide-to-frame fit, which is typical for 1911s at this price point.

The steel frame gives the pistol a familiar 1911 heft and the 5-inch barrel keeps the balance close to a full-size gun rather than a compact. The stainless slide with gold accents is a look owners either really like or would have skipped in favor of a plain finish, since it reads clearly as a collector's edition rather than a plain working gun.

Because it follows the 1911 pattern, holsters, grips, and most aftermarket parts fit without modification. Owners weighing it against a standard-finish 1911 tend to see the anniversary edition as priced for the styling as much as for the mechanics.
