Detailed Features
At 5.80 lbs the Caledon is notably light for an over/under, which makes it comfortable for all-day upland carrying but does mean more felt recoil per shot. The break-open action is quick to load and unload. The engraved stainless steel receiver adds visual character alongside functional durability. The multi-choke system ships with fixed modified and full chokes. The 28 gauge's mild recoil pairs well with the gun's light weight for clay shooting sessions.

Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Caledon 28 gauge draws appreciation for its aesthetics. The walnut and engraved receiver combination stands out among entry-to-mid tier over/unders. Build quality gets positive marks, particularly the wood-to-metal fit and metal finish. Most owners find the 28 gauge a genuinely enjoyable round to shoot in this gun.
Price is the most debated point: some buyers consider it good value for an Italian-made gun, while others benchmark it against competitors in the same category and find the comparison close. Parts and service availability has come up as a consideration for prospective buyers, particularly outside major urban areas. Light weight means recoil is more noticeable than in heavier over/unders.
