The FIERCE CT Rival Gen 3 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, built around a titanium dual-lug action and a C3 carbon fiber barrel. It's a purpose-built precision and hunting rifle, not a standard hunting rifle that's been lightened, but a design that starts from lightweight materials throughout.

Features

Titanium Action

The dual-lug action is machined from titanium, lighter than steel without sacrificing structural integrity. The 70-degree bolt throw cycles fast and clears most scopes without the shooter changing cheek weld, which matters when running larger objective lenses.

Barrel and Trigger

The C3 carbon fiber barrel has a hand-lapped liner and ships with an accuracy guarantee. The radial muzzle brake reduces felt recoil, which is useful in the 6.8 Western chambering. The Bix'n Andy trigger adjusts between 1 lb and 3 lbs, giving shooters control over break weight to match their conditions.

Stock and Chassis

The C3 carbon stock includes an adjustable cheek piece and an integral Picatinny rail section for bipod attachment. The solid carbon bedding system locks the action into the stock consistently, which is where a lot of accuracy improvements come from. Digital Camouflage finish.

The CT Rival is a practical choice for hunters packing into backcountry and for long-range shooters who want a rifle that won't add unnecessary weight.

The FIERCE CT Rival Gen 3 in 6.8 Western draws an audience of hunters and precision shooters, and the conversation around it reflects that mix.

The titanium construction is consistently praised. Owners appreciate both the weight savings and the durability. It's a meaningful difference for anyone carrying a rifle a long distance. Accuracy is the other major point of praise; most users report tight groups at distance, and the hand-lapped barrel appears to live up to the accuracy guarantee.

The 6.8 Western caliber itself generates more mixed discussion. Hunters targeting large game appreciate the power and trajectory, but the cartridge is newer and ammunition availability varies by region, which frustrates some owners. Cost per round is higher than more established calibers.

Ergonomics get good marks overall. The adjustable cheek piece and balance of the rifle suit most users, though a few suggest the stock design could be improved for their shooting style.

Price is the most common complaint. The CT Rival is a premium-priced rifle, and buyers split between those who view the titanium and carbon fiber construction as justification and those who note that performance-comparable alternatives exist at lower price points. Customer service experiences are mixed, with some buyers reporting smooth transactions and others describing delays in service or communication.
