The GLFA AR-15 in .350 Legend is a semi-automatic rifle from Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition, built around the AR-15 platform and finished in Snow Camo Cerakote. The finish is aimed at hunters who work in snowy terrain, though it's equally at home on the range.

Detailed Features:

The 16-inch barrel has a 1:10 twist rate and is available in 416R stainless steel or 4150 CRMOV nitride, both of which hold up well under field use. The 7075 aluminum frame keeps the whole package at 6.4 lbs, which matters on long carry days.

The mil-spec polymer grip gives standard AR ergonomics with adequate control for extended sessions. A muzzle brake is included; it directs muzzle rise forward at a six-degree angle and needs no Loctite. The full Picatinny rail on the handguard accepts optics, lights, or whatever accessories fit the task.

Usage Scenarios:

1. Hunting: The .350 Legend works well for deer-sized game, enough stopping power with recoil that stays manageable.
2. Sport Shooting: The muzzle brake and 1:10 twist support quick follow-up shots and consistent groups.
3. Home Defense: At 6.4 lbs with semi-auto action, it handles readily in confined spaces.

Owners of the GLFA Snow Camo AR-15 in .350 Legend tend to focus on a few recurring topics.

The snow camo Cerakote finish draws attention. People either specifically want it for winter hunting or they like the look for its own sake. Either way, it's not a finish you see often at the range.

Accuracy and caliber performance are the most common points of praise. The .350 Legend runs flat enough and hits hard enough for deer hunting, and the 1:10 twist barrel holds consistent groups at typical hunting distances. Recoil is generally described as manageable, which makes extended range sessions less tiring.

Build quality gets positive marks. The 7075 aluminum frame and steel barrel feel solid, and owners report it cycles reliably with standard .350 Legend loads.

Ergonomics are standard AR-15, which most users already know and prefer. The Picatinny handguard rail is frequently mentioned as a practical addition for mounting optics or lights.

On the critical side, the 5-round capacity is a limitation some mention, particularly for hunting states with different magazine rules. Customer service experiences with GLFA are mixed. Some owners report smooth warranty interactions, others less so.
