Owners of the Glock 43X generally praise its reliability, a trait that follows most Glock pistols regardless of size. Reports of malfunctions are rare, and the pistol is often carried as a daily concealed-carry gun without complaints about function.

The grip length, longer than the standard Glock 43, is often cited as improving control without adding much bulk to the package. Some shooters note the trigger feels typical of a factory Glock: usable but not class-leading, and a portion of owners upgrade it with an aftermarket kit.

The Glock aftermarket is enormous, so holsters, sights, and slide parts are easy to source for the 43X. The MOS variant draws mixed feedback: some like having a factory optics cut ready to go, while others feel the co-witness height with certain reflex sights isn't ideal out of the box.
