The Glock G43X is a single-stack, slimline 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol built on Glock's polymer frame with a steel slide. It has a 3.41-inch barrel, an overall length of 6.50 inches, and ships optic-ready with a serrated slide. The design uses a firing pin safety and trigger safety instead of a manual thumb safety, and the controls are ambidextrous.

Detailed Features

• Optic-ready slide cut pairs with front and rear serrations for a clean sight picture and easier slide manipulation.
• Steel barrel and slide ride on a lightweight polymer frame, keeping the 1.06 lb unloaded weight low for daily carry.
• 15+1 capacity in a single-stack-width frame gives more rounds on board than the standard G43 without adding width.
• Ambidextrous slide stop and controls work equally well for right- and left-handed shooters.
• Firing pin and trigger block safeties operate automatically as the trigger is pulled, with no external manual safety lever.

Owners of the G43X generally praise how it carries. Its slim, single-stack width disappears under a shirt or in an IWB holster, and the general Glock reputation for going bang every time carries over here; most people report few if any malfunctions once broken in. A few complain the factory sights are basic and get swapped out early.

On the ergonomics side, the added grip length compared to the standard G43 is the most-cited improvement. Shooters with average to larger hands find they can get a full firing grip instead of pinning a finger under the magazine, and that translates into more controllable follow-up shots. Some still find the grip a bit short for a two-hand hold and add an extension.

Aftermarket support is a strong point for the G43X. Holsters, sights, and optic-ready slide plates are widely available since it shares Glock's parts ecosystem, and the optic cut gets mentioned as a value-add over non-optic variants. Value opinions vary: some feel the price premium over base Glock models is worth the compact-plus-optic combo, others think it is a modest jump for what amounts to a longer grip module.
