Owners of the Horizon Firearms Vandal Prime in 6.5 PRC typically highlight the Stiller action as the centerpiece of the rifle's appeal, citing smooth bolt operation and solid lockup as the main reasons they chose it over more common factory options.

The Iota Eko stock gets a generally positive reception for its rigidity and weather resistance, though some owners find it less adjustable than aftermarket chassis systems and note the fit can feel slightly blocky depending on build.

On value, the Vandal Prime sits in a competitive segment and opinions are mixed. Buyers who want a ready-to-shoot precision package are largely satisfied, while those who planned to swap components from the start question whether the Premium tier justifies its price over the Standard.
