The Kriss Vector CRB Gen II is a 9mm Luger (9x19) semi-automatic carbine with a 16-inch barrel. Overall length is 38.5 inches, weight is 8 lbs (3.6 kg), and capacity is 10+1 rounds. It comes in Flat Dark Earth finish with flip-up front and rear sights and an ambidextrous short-throw safety lever.
The defining mechanical feature is the KRISS Super V Recoil Mitigation System, which aligns the barrel with the shooter's arm and redirects bolt mass downward to reduce muzzle rise. Caliber interchangeability is tool-less. Swapping to a different lower receiver requires no tools. The Vector uses standard Glock magazines, which are widely available. What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Blowback operation is the standard operation for 9mm pistol caliber carbines. It's very reliable and cheap and easy to make. However, it's not really ideal because it adds a lot more recoil than you really need.
Now these guns shoot very very nice very flat especially if you shoot it full auto it's super fast and super flat fun fun gun to shoot in full auto.
We have a magazine release right here, which can be a bit of an issue if you are not holding it correctly.
The trigger here is a subgun trigger. However, it is considerably better in my personal opinion than the MP5.
Really nice pull. And it's got a quick reset as well. And that allows you to have really quick follow-up shots, which is what you want for a subg gun.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The KRISS Vector CRB Gen II in FDE draws strong interest and some pointed criticism. The Super V recoil system is the most talked-about feature. Most shooters find that it genuinely reduces muzzle rise and makes rapid-fire more controllable than a conventional straight-blowback 9mm carbine. Glock magazine compatibility gets consistent praise for practical reasons: mags are cheap and everywhere.
Ergonomics and handling are generally rated well. The adjustable stock and overall balance come up positively in most reviews. Performance is described as reliable, though a handful of users report feeding issues with certain aftermarket magazines or ammunition.
The FDE finish divides opinion. Some like the tactical look, others prefer black. At its price point, the Vector is frequently called expensive. Weight is occasionally mentioned as feeling bulky relative to other 9mm carbines. Aftermarket parts and customization options are a popular topic among owners who want to build it out.
