What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
It's cheap for a 2011 people will say affordable they'll say budget what it means is it's about a third of the cost of an average 2011.
The barrels fit really well but some of the stuff on here is just not quite up to the same quality as you would get like on a a mil bar stock part.
It's definitely slugging forward and when it slugs forward it feels like it's going to get caught right there feels like it's getting caught and then it goes for it now I've seen that in almost every other video.
I like the grip texture it seems a little cheap and a little cheesy but it's really grippy.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
Owners of the Apollo 11 V2 most often lead with the aesthetics. The copper slide and black frame combination draws attention at the range, and many buyers say that was the initial draw before they were won over by the build quality. The 1911 trigger in a double-stack 9mm package is the primary appeal for shooters who want familiar single-action feel with higher capacity.
Reliability feedback is generally positive, with most owners reporting smooth feeding across hollow point and ball ammunition. The tritium sights get consistent praise for low-light use. Fit and finish on the copper slide does attract some concern about long-term wear, with a handful of owners reporting finish rubbing at holster contact points after extended carry.
At its price point, the Apollo 11 V2 is seen as a competitive entry in the 1911-style compact market. Some buyers feel the optic-ready cut adds value without adding bulk. Those who compared it to other double-stack 1911 compacts generally find the Live Free Armory offering solid, though a few note the trigger requires break-in before it settles.
