The Elite XT trigger has a smooth, defined pull that reduces pre-fire movement. The adjustable cheek piece and LOP let shooters customize fit without buying aftermarket stock components. The target-crowned barrel combined with the muzzle brake helps stabilize bullet flight and reduces felt recoil, which matters with the 360 Buckhammer's energy levels. The threaded barrel also accepts suppressors. The hammer/trigger block safety prevents discharge during carry or storage.

Discussion of the Outfitter G3 Elite 360 Buckhammer tends to center on two things: accuracy and caliber performance. Most users report solid groupings at hunting distances, and the 360 Buckhammer's stopping power for whitetail and similar game gets consistent praise. The stainless finish holds up well in wet field conditions according to owners who've used it through multiple seasons.

Ergonomics are generally well-received. The adjustable stock accommodates different body sizes, and the weight distribution makes it reasonably comfortable for extended carry. Recoil opinions are mixed. Some find it manageable with the muzzle brake, others suggest a recoil pad for longer range sessions.

Ammunition availability for 360 Buckhammer comes up as a concern, particularly in areas without well-stocked shops. Price divides buyers roughly evenly between those who see it as fair for a precision hunting rifle and those comparing it to similarly-priced alternatives. Customer service interactions with Outfitter vary in the user base. Positive warranty resolutions sit alongside complaints about response times. Overall the rifle draws a favorable reception among hunters who prioritize accuracy in a straight-wall legal platform.
