The Pedersoli Alaskan Howdah is a break-action handgun chambered for both .45LC and .410, giving it a degree of ammunition flexibility that most handguns don't offer. The 10.25-inch barrel and 16.75-inch overall length put it at the larger end for a handgun, and its 7.2 lbs reflects that. This is not a carry gun. The matte chrome finish is durable and the black soft touch rubber grip coating absorbs some of the recoil that comes with the heavier loads.
