Detailed Features

The 20-inch barrel has a 1:8 twist rate, which handles the full range of 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles without issues. POF pairs it with a single-stage match trigger (clean break, minimal creep), that makes a real difference at extended ranges where trigger control matters.

The Dictator adjustable gas block lets you tune gas flow per load or condition, which helps with suppressed shooting or running lighter ammunition. E2 Extraction Technology improves ejection reliability, a useful feature given how hard some brass can stick in tight chambers after hot strings.

The MFT grip and handguard are comfortable and handle heat well during extended use.

Usage

The Prescott earns its keep as a hunting and precision shooting rifle. 6.5 Creedmoor's flat trajectory and moderate recoil make it easy to confirm hits at distance, and the 20-inch barrel extracts most of the cartridge's velocity potential. The 20-round capacity is more than enough for most field scenarios.

The POF Prescott 6.5 Creedmoor draws consistently positive feedback on accuracy, particularly at longer ranges where the caliber's flat trajectory and low recoil make it easy to shoot well. Build quality gets frequent praise. Fit, finish, and material choices hold up to scrutiny from buyers who've handled a lot of precision rifles.

Ergonomics are well-regarded. The adjustable stock and control placement work for a wide range of shooters, and most users find it comfortable during longer range sessions. The modularity of the platform means owners readily swap optics, grips, and other accessories.

The recurring criticisms are consistent: at 7 lbs the Prescott is on the heavier side relative to some bolt-action precision rifles, which matters for hunters covering ground. Price comes up regularly. The rifle costs more than comparable AR-10 builds from other manufacturers, and whether the POF features justify the premium depends on how much you value the adjustable gas system and E2 extraction. A few first-time owners found the initial optic setup and zeroing process less intuitive than expected. Aftermarket parts availability is narrower than for commodity AR platforms, which limits some customization options.
