Features
At 5.90 lbs the Rogue DI is notably light for a .308 semi-auto, which is the main selling point. The stainless steel match-grade barrel has a 1:8" twist rate, suited to stabilize .308 bullets from around 150 to 175 grains. A muzzle brake is integrated to reduce felt recoil. The six-position MFT stock adjusts length-of-pull for different shooters. The optic-ready rail gives you the full top rail without a fixed sight getting in the way. The DI designation means this is a direct-impingement design rather than POF's piston-driven option.
Use Cases
The 16.5-inch barrel and .308 caliber cover medium-range precision shooting, hunting large game, and DMR-style applications. The light weight makes it more comfortable than most .308 semis for extended carry or movement. Competitive 3-gun or PRS-style shooting where a .308 semi-auto is needed also fits.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Initially I had some reliability issues in which it appeared that the gun was cycling a little bit too fast.
Battle rifle one of the things I like about this gun is very very controllable I can dump a lot of rounds down range very quickly.
The vast majority of the parts are proprietary including the bolt carrier group and the barrel so if you need to replace a part well you're going to POF to do it you can't get it anywhere else.
This I would want accuracy that's around an inch and a half on average but whatever and then on top of that why is the dictator adjustable gas block not standard.
If you're willing to put in the time to get it to run properly this thing will last you a long long time and will do very well inside of its limitations.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The POF Rogue DI in .308 Win draws solid reviews, with the weight being the headline spec that sets user expectations.
Build quality is the first thing owners mention. POF's construction standards are consistently called out as tight and durable. At 5.90 lbs the rifle is lighter than most .308 semi-autos, and shooters who've used heavier alternatives appreciate the difference during longer sessions or field use. Accuracy reports are positive across the board; the match-grade barrel and 1:8" twist perform well with quality .308 loads. The adjustable MFT stock, optic rail, and muzzle brake are all functional and work as described.
The main reservations are price and weight, somewhat contradictory but both show up. Price is high compared to competing .308 semi-autos, which some buyers justify against the lighter weight and POF's build quality. Other buyers feel the premium is hard to justify for casual use. On weight, a few users still find 5.90 lbs more than they wanted for extended carry, even if it's light for the caliber class. Customer service experiences are mixed in the usual way for a niche manufacturer.
For someone who specifically wants a lightweight, quality-built .308 DI semi-auto, the Rogue DI is a legitimate pick. Budget-focused buyers have cheaper options.
