The Proof Elevation MTR in 7mm Rem Mag draws strong interest from precision hunters and long-range shooters, and the feedback generally reflects that audience's priorities.

Accuracy is the most praised aspect. Shooters report tight groupings at distance, and the carbon fiber barrel's thermal stability gets credit for consistency through longer shooting sessions. The overall build quality is well-regarded. The rifle feels purposeful and the materials hold up in the field.

Ergonomics come up positively too. Users find it comfortable to handle, and the adjustable features let them dial in fit without major modifications.

The main criticism is price. Many owners feel the performance justifies the cost, but others note that comparable long-range platforms are available at lower price points. Recoil with the 7mm Rem Mag comes up in discussions as well. Most find the Elevation MTR handles it better than other rifles in the caliber, though some still recommend a muzzle brake or pad for shooters who are recoil-sensitive.
