• At 7.40 lbs, the walnut-stocked build stays light for a day of upland walking.

Owners of the Retay Ace Upland Ultralight generally report smooth cycling once the shotgun is broken in. Fit and finish on the walnut stock draws favorable comments, and the aluminum receiver keeps the gun from feeling front-heavy. A few buyers mention the action needs a few boxes of shells before it runs completely reliably.

The lightweight build and walnut stock make the Ace Upland Ultralight comfortable to carry over a long day afield, and the AIRY recoil pad takes some sting out of heavier loads. Some hunters wish the factory length of pull felt right without adjustment, even though the stock does ship adjustable.

Buyers view the included Marapro choke set as a solid value add compared to shotguns that charge extra for chokes. Aftermarket parts support for Retay is smaller than for more established shotgun brands, so some owners stick with factory components rather than chasing third-party upgrades.
