What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
The compensator does make a pretty big difference in felt recoil with this gun so I definitely recommend it if you're looking to add more options to your M&P.
The M&P is the slide serrations they are very aggressive both front and back so you're never going to slide off when you're trying to manipulate the slide or doing press checks it makes it really easy.
I'm not a huge fan of suppressor height sight they just kind of get in the way of my optic.
The grip texture it is incredibly coarse it feels like 80 grit sandpaper which could be a good thing or a bad thing if you have little baby hands it might hurt a little bit if you shoot a lot.
This does have a nicer mag release it's very positive it just shoots the mag right out so that is one pro of this gun is you don't have to worry about an empty mag sticking.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The S&W M&P M2.0 9mm Optic-Ready Bundle in Matte Black gets a broadly positive reception with a few recurring reservations.
Most users point to reliability and trigger feel as the main draws. The smooth pull and consistent reset come up frequently, and new and experienced shooters both find the handling straightforward. The optic-ready feature is well-regarded. The ability to mount a red dot without additional modification is a practical advantage. Ergonomics get favorable comments, particularly the textured grip and interchangeable backstraps. Bundle buyers generally feel the package represents solid value.
On the critical side, the size and weight draw some debate: compact enough for concealed carry, but substantial enough that some shooters prefer lighter alternatives. Customer service experiences vary. Most report positive interactions with S&W, though a few mention warranty or availability friction. Trigger comparisons to Glock and Sig Sauer models are common in forums, with preferences splitting along personal feel rather than objective performance gaps.
