Features

The striker-fired action gives a clean, consistent trigger pull. Grip texture is aggressive enough to hold through fast strings without becoming uncomfortable for most shooters. The optics-cut slide is a useful addition for anyone who wants to mount a red-dot without machining work. At 19.3 oz it's heavier than some carry guns but that weight helps absorb recoil. The Tennessee edition is the same pistol mechanically - the distinction is the special markings on the slide.

Owners of the Tennessee edition largely discuss it the same way they'd discuss any Shield Plus - compact, reliable, easy to carry. The regional markings appeal to Tennessee residents and collectors who like state-specific runs, though most of the conversation centers on practical carry performance rather than the aesthetics.

Common positives: the balance of size and capacity, manageable recoil, and the optics-cut slide. Some users compare the trigger and magazine capacity unfavorably to other carry options in the same price bracket. Manual safety vs. no-safety is a recurring debate in Shield Plus discussions generally.

Overall sentiment is positive. Shooters appreciate that it functions exactly like the standard Shield Plus while adding a detail that resonates locally.
