Detailed Features
The left-hand action is the primary purpose of this model. The bolt and ejection port are mirrored for natural handling by left-handed shooters. The AccuTrigger adjusts for pull weight, providing a consistent break once set. The 21-inch button-rifled carbon steel barrel is built for reliable accuracy over time. The hardwood stock gives the rifle a traditional look and solid handling characteristics. The detachable box magazine clears quickly for reloading.
Who It's For
Left-handed shooters who want a purpose-built .22 WMR bolt-action rather than a mirrored workaround. The .22 WMR gives more range and energy than .22 LR, making it appropriate for hunters who want more reach for small game.
Usage
Small game hunting (rabbits, squirrels, varmints) at ranges where .22 LR starts running out of steam. Target shooting and plinking work well too. The AccuTrigger makes precision practice rewarding, and the 5-round magazine keeps reloading manageable in the field.

Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Savage 93 GL LH .22 WMR gets positive reviews for accuracy. Tight groups at various distances come up consistently, and the AccuTrigger's adjustability is cited as a key factor in getting the most out of the platform. The matte finish is appreciated for holding up to weather and outdoor conditions.
Left-handed availability is a genuine selling point. Options for southpaw bolt-action shooters in .22 WMR are limited, and Savage's dedicated left-hand design is frequently cited as the main reason buyers chose this model.
A few owners mention the weight being slightly higher than expected, which can affect handling during extended sessions. Availability compared to right-handed versions is noted as a constraint for those who want to buy quickly or handle before purchase.
