They've got this really nice hexagonally shaped oversized bolt handle. Now, I actually really like this cuz it has really excellent purchase when charging a firearm.

The Savage Axis 2 .22-250 with FDE stock generally earns positive reviews for accuracy and value. Most owners are happy with the out-of-box performance. The AccuTrigger gets credit for a crisp, adjustable pull that helps with precision work. The lightweight design is appreciated on longer outings.

The matte black finish holds up well and the overall feel is solid for the price. Some users mention wishing the stock had a more refined feel, and a few experienced shooters who receive a bundled scope note they prefer to swap it for something better. Quality control issues come up occasionally in reviews. The overall consensus is that it delivers reliable performance at a competitive price, making it a sensible pick for both new shooters and budget-conscious hunters.
