The Savage Arms Axis 2 in .308 Win is a left-handed bolt-action rifle with a green synthetic stock. It's drilled and tapped for scope mounts and comes with Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets shooters set trigger pull weight to match their preference.
The user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows shooters to customize pull weight, reducing trigger creep and improving shot consistency. The drilled and tapped receiver makes scope installation straightforward. Integral swivel studs are already in place for sling attachment. The green synthetic stock is durable, lightweight, and handles wet conditions without warping.
The left-hand bolt configuration is purpose-built for left-handed shooters, not an afterthought conversion.
This rifle is well-suited to left-handed hunters and shooters looking for a dependable .308 Win platform without paying a premium for the LH configuration. It works for newer shooters who want something accessible and for experienced hunters who need a reliable field rifle.
The .308 Win caliber is effective on deer and larger game at hunting distances, and the 22" barrel extracts solid velocity from the cartridge. The adjustable trigger is a genuine asset during target practice. For competitive shooting, the bolt action cycles predictably and the customizable trigger adds another degree of control.
As far as recoil you don't really feel too much recoil I mean The Recoil is great obviously this is a little bit heavier of a rifle.
The accuracy of this I mean you're not going to be displeased with this um and a little bit of time and practice I mean you're going to be able to improve quite a bit.

The Savage Axis 2 LH .308 Win with the Precision Green Stock draws consistently positive feedback, with a few recurring limitations noted.
Value for money is the headline. Most owners see it as an excellent entry-level option for both new shooters and experienced hunters who don't want to spend heavily on a LH-configured bolt gun. Out-of-the-box accuracy in .308 Win is frequently praised. Owners report good groups right away. The AccuTrigger is a regular highlight, with users noting the adjustable pull makes a real difference in feel and precision. The green stock also gets specific compliments for its look compared to more standard options.
On the constructive side, some experienced shooters feel it lacks the refinement of higher-end rifles, which is expected at the price. A few note that optics or accessories are worth budgeting for alongside the rifle to get the most out of it. Ergonomics occasionally come up. Most find it comfortable, but some suggest the fit requires adjustment. There are isolated reports of magazine or feeding issues, though reviewers consistently note these aren't widespread.
