Features

The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable within a set range, letting you dial in pull weight without a gunsmith visit. It also has a passive safety lever inside the trigger blade, so it won't fire if dropped. Two-piece Weaver-style bases are included, so the rifle is ready for a scope out of the box.

The threaded muzzle (with thread protector cap) makes it straightforward to add a suppressor or muzzle brake. The laminate stock is dimensionally stable across humidity and temperature changes, which helps keep zero consistent. At 6.6 lbs it's light enough for a day of small game hunting without feeling flimsy.

Users of the Savage B22 Magnum in forest green generally report good accuracy, with tight groupings at range distances typical for .22 WMR. The bolt action is smooth and reliable, and the AccuTrigger draws consistent praise from shooters who appreciate the ability to set pull weight to their preference.

The forest green laminate finish appeals to hunters who want a natural look in outdoor settings. The stock itself is functional, though some users note it lacks the adjustability found on higher-end rifles, and a few find the fit less comfortable during extended carry.

Weight comes up occasionally as a consideration. At 6.6 lbs it's reasonable, but some hunters prefer lighter options for long days in the field.

On value: most buyers feel the B22 Magnum delivers solid performance for its price, making it an accessible entry point for .22 WMR bolt-action shooting. It suits new shooters learning fundamentals as well as experienced shooters who want a reliable rimfire for plinking or small game.
