What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
This is now a gun where basically you have to hold it with two hands to toggle that safety that's pretty ridiculous that's a dumb design in my opinion.
That is really super uncomfortable between getting smacked here and then there's some kind of a bite that's happening up here.
This action you feel a lot of clunkiness happening there's nothing smooth about the gun.
Why in the heck did they shorten the grip it's not like this is for concealed carry.
Can't call it a good trigger can't necessarily call it a bad trigger but it's just it's nothing special.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
Owners of the M&P FPC in .40 S&W appreciate the folding stock design, which makes the carbine practical to transport and store without sacrificing a full-length barrel. The M-Lok handguard and Picatinny rail get positive marks for being accessory-ready out of the box, and the included carry bag is a welcome touch.
The threaded 16.25-inch barrel is a consistent highlight, and the blowback action is generally regarded as reliable with factory ammunition. Some owners note that the .40 S&W chambering produces a snappier recoil impulse compared to 9mm PCC variants, which splits opinion on whether that affects practical accuracy at speed.
Value perception is mixed. The FPC commands a price premium over comparable PCCs, and the magazine ecosystem being tied to M&P pistol mags is a plus for existing S&W owners but a mild inconvenience for others. The Armornite barrel finish earns consistent praise for corrosion resistance.
