What Reviewers Say

Except I really like the beaver tail Commander style Hammer I like that and it's just a very clean slim handgun.
It's solid in your hand it doesn't twist it doesn't move it stays put and to be honest we shot this quite a bit it was not uncomfortable.
Take up it's right there it's very short and then we hit hit it and it has a super clean brake.
Shooting 45 but with this shroud and I've shot him with the shrouds for some reason this is a really soft shooting 45 ACP.
What of the cons maybe a little heavier than your standard 1911 uh you know you've got your basic Garrison again and the price is considerably less.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Emissary two-tone gets discussed mainly among shooters who specifically want the stainless/black two-tone look combined with the Emissary's feature set. Build quality, fit, and finish get consistent positive marks, and the two-tone finish draws favorable attention at the range.
Accuracy and trigger quality come up as strengths. The U-Dot sight picture is mentioned as quick to pick up across different backgrounds. VZ grips and the beavertail are appreciated as factory-correct choices.
Weight at 38.5 oz is lighter than the 5-inch .45 ACP versions but still draws the usual 1911 carry weight discussion. Magazine capacity (8+1) is the same conversation as all single-stack 1911s. Price is debated in the context of other Springfield 1911s and competing brands. Customer service experiences with Springfield Armory vary; some owners report smooth interactions, others note delays.
