What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
I have held better micro compacts in my hand while shooting this pistol my thumb ends up holding the slide release down which consequently fails to lock the slide back on an empty magazine.
For as good as the Hellcat was it was still a very small gun firing a 9mm round.
I feel the position of the slide release is much better on the p365 however one thing that i like quite a lot is the slide serrations.
Some are even calling it a better trigger than glock but i probably would disagree with that but i must mention that it has a shorter travel than glock.
Tracking the target with a big yellow front sight is simple which makes taking follow-up shots fairly easy the recoil is also mild and the adaptive grip greatly allows you to maintain the grip.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Springfield Hellcat Pro OSP 9mm Compact gets strong marks from owners in concealed carry discussions, with a few consistent criticisms.
The compact size and light weight draw regular praise. At 1.3 lbs with a 15-round capacity, the pistol sits at a favorable intersection of carry comfort and firepower for daily carry.
The optics-ready feature is consistently highlighted. Owners who've added red dots report easy mounting and solid zero retention. The RMS/SMS mounting system is compatible with several popular micro red dot options.
Ergonomics get positive comments for most owners. The grip is comfortable, controls are intuitively placed, and the pistol handles reliably across common 9mm defensive loads.
The trigger pull receives mixed feedback. Some owners find it smooth and appropriate for the application; others describe it as heavier or less refined than competing compact pistols and opt for aftermarket alternatives.
Pricing compared to Glock and other compact 9mm options comes up regularly. Some owners see the value in the optics-ready feature and overall feature set; others find comparable alternatives at lower cost.
A few owners note a break-in period before the pistol cycled completely reliably, though most report smooth function after 200-300 rounds. Holster and accessory availability has expanded as the platform gained market share.
