Features
The polymer frame cuts weight significantly versus an all-steel revolver of the same capacity, which benefits daily carry. The ribber grip absorbs some recoil and maintains grip security. The fixed fiber optic front sight speeds target acquisition in varied lighting. The DA/SA trigger gives the choice between a longer double-action pull and a lighter, shorter single-action pull. The Taurus Security System transfer bar prevents firing unless the trigger is fully pressed. .38 Special +P compatibility gives a lower-recoil option for practice and lighter carry loads.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
It does work uh very well by the way and fairly accurate for a 2-in barrel.
The Recoil is very manageable especially compared to a magnum load.
The ejector rod on this is really very very short so when you shoot one of these and you go to unload it make sure you tip the barrel up so your cases can drop down.
Oh yeah much better all right manageable but it is very heavy.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The 605 Polymer draws consistent appreciation for its light weight and compact dimensions. Owners who carry daily find it comfortable for extended periods, and the .357 Magnum caliber is well regarded for stopping power in a 2-inch package. The DA/SA mechanism and .38 Special +P compatibility both come up as practical advantages.
The double-action trigger pull runs heavy compared to some competing compact revolvers, which is the most common criticism. Recoil with full-power .357 Magnum loads is sharp given the compact dimensions and polymer frame; .38 Special is a noticeably more comfortable option for range practice. Some owners miss the solidity and feel of an all-steel frame, finding the polymer less confidence-inspiring in hand. Overall it is a reasonable choice for buyers who prioritize light weight and carrying comfort in a .357 Magnum revolver.
