Features
The adjustable rear sight is a useful touch at this price range. Most comparable pistols ship with fixed sights. The Picatinny rail under the dust cover accepts lights and lasers without an adapter. Manual safety is included, which some buyers specifically want and others skip entirely.
The polymer frame keeps weight down and the grip texture is aggressive enough to hold position without being uncomfortable on bare hands. 17+1 capacity is competitive for a full-size 9mm.

Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
User discussion on the Taurus G3 Coyote Brown centers on a few recurring themes.
The price-to-feature ratio is the most common positive. Buyers frequently note that the G3 includes adjustable sights, a Picatinny rail, and 17+1 capacity at a price point well below comparable striker-fired pistols from other manufacturers. Range performance is generally reported as reliable across common ammunition types, with some notes about break-in issues in the first 100-200 rounds.
Ergonomics get positive marks. Grip texture and overall feel are comfortable for most hand sizes during extended sessions. The Coyote Brown finish is polarizing; some buyers specifically chose it for the look, while others would have preferred a black or stainless option.
Aftermarket support has grown as the platform gained traction, and holster availability is no longer the issue it was at launch. Customer service feedback is mixed. Warranty claims work out for most, but a portion of users report slow response times.
Comparisons to Glock, M&P, and Sig come up often. The G3 generally comes out ahead on price and behind on perceived long-term reliability reputation, though actual failure reports are not disproportionately high in user forums.

Six years with mine and the only jam came from a PMAG, which says plenty about how dependable it has been. The grip is especially comfortable for me, and I carry this nearly as often as my 19X. I love the pistol overall. My lone wish is that the TORO slides were more readily available, since that would make an already satisfying setup even better.
