The Taurus Raging Hunter is a large-frame, DA/SA revolver chambered in .350 Legend with a 10.5-inch compensated barrel and a 6-round, non-fluted cylinder. It pairs a cushioned rubber grip with dual Picatinny rails on the top and bottom of the barrel shroud for mounting optics or accessories, and it uses fiber-optic front and rear sights for aiming without a scope. The combination of a long compensated barrel and rail-mounted optics support is aimed at hunting and long-range revolver shooting with a straight-walled cartridge.

Owners of the Raging Hunter line generally describe it as a working hunting revolver rather than a refined range gun. The compensator on the .350 Legend version is a common talking point, with most owners saying it noticeably cuts muzzle rise compared to an uncompensated barrel of similar length. A few note some flash and extra noise from the ports, which is a tradeoff most accept for the recoil reduction.

At 10.5 inches, the Raging Hunter is a long, front-heavy revolver. Owners who carry it in a hunting rig or shoulder holster comment on the weight and length, while those who shoot it off a rest or bipod find the added mass helps steady the sight picture. The rubber grip gets mixed feedback, with some finding it comfortable through a range session and others swapping it for a different profile.

On value, the Raging Hunter is priced well below many premium hunting revolvers with similar barrel-mounted rail systems. Owners like that the Picatinny rails let them mount a red dot without gunsmithing, though some mention the factory fiber-optic sights are hard to see clearly once an optic is added on top.
