Features
The barrel and receiver are stainless steel, a practical choice for hunting in rain, snow, or coastal salt air where a blued finish would need constant attention. The muzzle is hand-cut crowned to protect the rifling, which matters for accuracy at the longer ranges the .300 WSM is well-suited for.
The bolt cycles smoothly, which is a consistent characteristic of T3X-series rifles. The 3+1 capacity is standard for a short-action magnum, not generous, but enough for most hunting situations. Left-handed configuration is properly mirrored, not an afterthought.
.300 WSM delivers .300 Win Mag ballistics from a shorter action, making it well-matched to deer, elk, and similar large game at extended distances.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Feeding on the Tikka I have never ever had a hang up on my Tikka and there are a few reasons why.
The action on the Tikka is just so dialed when you move that bolt you absolutely 100 percent know the old cartridge is coming out and the new one is going in it's just such a smooth action.
Tikka really hits it out of the park with that trigger it's just it feels like a more expensive trigger than it really is when you shoot the Tikka.
I would say the stock quality it's you know it's flimsy plastic and you can see right here where the barrel we should have a free float here.
The other thing is their recoil pad is very bad it's probably the worst in the industry it's extremely stiff and it's designed to increase muzzle flip.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Tikka T3X Lite Stainless in .300 WSM left-hand configuration earns consistently positive feedback, with accuracy and out-of-the-box performance the most frequently cited strengths. Most owners report good groups without any tuning.
The lightweight build is appreciated by hunters who cover ground. 6.5 lbs in .300 WSM is competitive. The stainless finish gets credit for holding up in varied weather without rust issues.
The bolt feel is a recurring positive: smooth, with a short throw that suits quick follow-up shots.
On the downside, price is the most common objection. It's at the higher end of the hunting rifle market. Left-handed shooters also note that aftermarket stocks and some accessories are harder to find for left-hand models than for standard configurations. These are real limitations worth knowing before buying.
