The Tisas PX-9 in Robin's Egg Blue is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a polymer frame and satin nickel slide. The color is the obvious differentiator. It's a deliberate departure from the standard black or gray finish most pistols ship with.

Features

The hard chromium barrel coating improves corrosion resistance and extends service life with regular use. Fiber optic front sight picks up quickly in daylight. The tactical trigger safety is the primary active safety. There's no external thumb safety on the standard configuration. Interchangeable grip panels let you adjust the feel, and the included IWB holster makes it ready to carry out of the box. Two magazines (18-round and 20-round) are in the box.

At 4.1-inch barrel and 7.2-inch overall length, the PX-9 is a full-size-ish pistol, compact enough to carry but not a micro. The 20+1 capacity is the headline number and it's genuinely generous for a 9mm.

Usage

The PX-9 covers home defense and range shooting well. The high capacity and included holster make it straightforward to set up for carry, and the fiber optic sight is practical for daytime use. It's priced at the accessible end of the 9mm market, which makes it a reasonable starting pistol or a second gun for collectors who like unusual colors.

The Robin's Egg Blue finish is what draws initial attention. It consistently gets picked up on social media and generates collector interest. Practically speaking, the PX-9 gets reviewed as a reliable range gun: shooters report controlled recoil, decent ergonomics, and the 21-round capacity (20+1) is frequently called out as a genuine strength.

The recurring concern is long-term durability and build quality compared to more established brands. Some users find the materials and fit-and-finish don't hold up as well over thousands of rounds as comparable Glock or CZ offerings. The price point is seen as the main justification. Buyers who go in knowing it's a budget-tier pistol tend to be satisfied, while those expecting flagship quality are sometimes disappointed. Most reviewers suggest it as a solid starter gun or range pistol, with the distinctive color making it particularly appealing to collectors.

Beautiful color and an outstanding striker-fired trigger.
