The 30" barrel is longer than typical field guns, which gives you more forward weight and a smoother swing on crossing targets, a practical advantage for trap and sporting clays. The adjustable comb lets you set the stock height to align your eye consistently with the fiber optic front sight, which matters for repeatable accuracy across a clay shooting session.
The semi-auto action cycles through 5+1 rounds without manual operation between shots. The Turkish walnut stock has visible grain and provides a solid, secure grip. Top-tang safety is naturally positioned for thumb operation in either hand.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Feels rather crisp not a lot of pre-travel yeah pretty crisp breaking trigger doesn't feel overly heavy.
It's a nice shotgun it performs very nice not too hard on the shoulder for a gas-operated semi-automatic the rubber molded stock it feels really comfortable.
I do notice here that the butt stock is proprietary so replacing with the third party butt stock will be a challenge.
The numbers that they put on the shims don't necessarily mean anything to me.
I could leave the fibers don't need it would rather have a white dot up there than a fiber optic.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
Users appreciate the Viper G2's walnut stock and craftsmanship for the price. The attention to detail in the woodwork gets positive mentions consistently, and owners describe the gun as having a classic aesthetic that's rare at this price point.
Performance on the range and in the field is generally described as reliable. The semi-auto action cycles different loads smoothly. The balance and ergonomics are called out as comfortable, with the length of pull working for most adult shooters.
Value for money is a recurring theme. Most buyers feel the Viper G2 delivers more than competing synthetic-stocked options at the same price.
The main criticisms: at 7.25 lbs some users find it heavy after extended carry, and new owners sometimes mention a break-in period before the action cycles lighter loads consistently. Customer service experiences are mixed, and aftermarket customization options are more limited than some would prefer.
