What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
This does have an ambidextrous slide release it's 12 round 45 so an awesome pistol very highly functional fantastic feeling trigger.
That's really the biggest negative uh about the firearm. It's hard to miss with it even when you're trying and uh that reason alone I wouldn't buy one.
I found with this gun it's pretty nose heavy like you know if you take at the back of the trigger here the weight tilts toward the nose by a significant amount that a lot of people find that annoying.
Trigger on this thing is just it's fantastic if you watch closely there's your brake there's absolutely no sponge whatsoever.
I I like if you were wanting a gun for home defense this thing is monstrous if you're wanting a gun for fun shooting like I'm doing currently it's a ton of fun it's super easy to shoot.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Walther PPQ M2 .45 ACP generates strongly positive feedback centered on a few consistent themes.
Ergonomics come up in nearly every review. The grip shape gives a natural point of aim and the textured surface holds well during extended sessions. Shooters regularly cite this as one of the more comfortable full-size pistols they have handled.
Accuracy is the second major theme. The PPQ M2 shoots well out of the box for both target practice and defensive drills. The trigger (smooth pull, short reset) gets credit for improved shot placement compared to other pistols owners have used.
The .45 ACP caliber generates the expected stopping power discussion. Owners feel confident in its defensive effectiveness while acknowledging the recoil is more pronounced than 9mm. Many note the PPQ M2 manages .45 recoil better than competing pistols in the caliber, which is a selling point for shooters who find other .45s too snappy.
Build quality feedback is positive overall. Owners mention reliable function and durable construction. Aftermarket support (holsters, sights, accessories) is reasonably well covered.

The grip is comfortable and the trigger is excellent. Mine has been reliable, though inserting a magazine sometimes sends the slide forward unexpectedly.
