Detailed Features
The barrel is threaded, which opens the door for a suppressor or muzzle device, a practical choice given .22 LR's natural compatibility with suppressed fire. Sights are a ramp post up front and an adjustable ghost ring in the rear, a configuration that's quick to acquire and easy to adjust without tools. The semi-auto action cycles fast enough for follow-up shots without fuss.
The TrueTimber Strata pattern blends reasonably well in mixed brush and timber. At 4 lbs, it won't wear you down on longer walks through the field.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
In all honesty the ease of cleaning and the last round bolt hold open are the two main features that persuaded me to purchase the wildcare.
It has a tab on the back of the magazine right here that activates the bolt hold open on the rifle which is pretty neat i think.
The other dislike I have is the trigger pool to put it bluntly the trigger pool is heavy.
The worst of the two downfalls is that the magazines seem to just sometimes fall apart.
Even with the problems I have had with 1022 I still think the Ruger 1022 is the king of semi-automatic 22 long rifle Firearms.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
Most owners of the Wildcat SR in TrueTimber Camo are happy with it as a lightweight, easy-handling .22. The semi-auto action draws consistent praise for smooth cycling, and the threaded barrel is often singled out as a genuine feature rather than a marketing add-on, particularly among owners who run suppressors.
The camo finish gets positive attention for both looks and practical outdoor use. Some shooters raise questions about accuracy at longer distances, which is common territory for a 16.5-inch .22. Most find the right ammunition makes a noticeable difference. The ghost ring rear sight suits some shooters well; others prefer optics and add a simple red dot.
At its price point, the general consensus is that the Wildcat SR delivers solid value for what it is: a light, reliable .22 for hunting small game or burning through ammo at the range.

Customer Reviews (1)
The Wildcat SR packs several thoughtful ideas into a lightweight composite design. It is already suppressor ready and accepts the familiar Ruger 10/22 style magazines, a combination that adds a lot of flexibility. I especially like the peep sight, while the upper Picatinny rail leaves a clear route for mounting an optic. There is another rail below the fore-end for a light or other accessory. Each of those elements broadens how the rifle can be configured without taking away from its light feel. The magazine compatibility may be the smartest part because it opens up more practical options. Altogether, the layout feels genuinely innovative rather than different merely for appearance.
