The Winchester XPR in .350 Legend is a bolt-action rifle with a 22-inch button-rifled barrel, 6 lbs 12 oz weight, and a black polymer stock with textured grip panels. The .350 Legend cartridge has found a specific following in states with straight-walled cartridge regulations for deer hunting, where it qualifies while delivering more energy than .223 and manageable recoil compared to larger straight-walled options.

Detailed Features

The M.O.A. trigger has a crisp break for consistent shot-to-shot feel. The detachable box magazine speeds field reloading. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, no sights are included. At 6 lbs 12 oz, the XPR in .350 Legend is reasonably light for a bolt-action deer rifle.

The Winchester XPR .350 Legend gets strong reviews from hunters operating in straight-walled cartridge states, where it fills a specific regulatory niche while performing well on deer-sized game.

Accuracy draws consistent praise, and the .350 Legend's recoil is mild enough that new shooters and youth hunters find it approachable. The bolt action is smooth, and the overall construction gets good marks for the price. Most buyers see it as solid value against competing deer rifles.

Weight at 6 lbs 12 oz comes up as a minor concern for some, though it's not unusual for the class. The stock M.O.A. trigger is serviceable but mentioned by more experienced shooters as a candidate for improvement. Aesthetics divide people. The black polymer look is utilitarian rather than distinctive, which is a personal preference issue.
