The Zev Technologies Elite Hypercomp is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around a full-length steel receiver rather than a conventional polymer frame. The receiver runs the entire length of the pistol and fully integrates the locking block, giving the slide a single surface to travel along. A removable grip attaches to the steel receiver through a single take-down pin located at the front of the trigger guard, and the trigger itself is housed in the receiver rather than the grip module.
