The AK-103 is a Russian-made assault rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built on the same gas-operated rotating-bolt system as the AK-47. It replaces the wooden furniture of earlier AK models with a polymer stock, handguard, and magazine, reducing weight while retaining durability. The stock folds to the side for more compact storage. A muzzle brake reduces recoil for faster follow-up shots. The receiver includes a side-mounted optics rail for scope or red dot mounting.
