The Mini Draco is a compact 7.62x39mm semi-automatic pistol built on the AK platform, manufactured at the Cugir factory in Romania and imported by Century Arms. Its barrel is about 7.75 inches (some listings say 7.5) and the overall length about 17.5 inches. The shorter Micro Draco has a 6.25-inch barrel. The pistol uses a stamped steel receiver, traditional AK-style sights, and a wooden handguard. The barrel is threaded and accepts muzzle devices including brakes and suppressors. The Mini Draco is used for close-quarters range shooting and home defense by shooters who want AK-platform reliability in a compact package.
