The Tavor 7 is a bullpup battle rifle made by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 Winchester). The bullpup layout — action and magazine behind the trigger — keeps overall length short without reducing barrel length, which aids both close-quarters handling and longer-range accuracy. The gas-piston operating system is adjustable, including for suppressor use. Controls are fully ambidextrous: reversible charging handle, safety selector, and magazine release. The top rail is full-length Picatinny; the handguard uses M-LOK slots. The Tavor 7 is in military and law enforcement service and is available to civilian buyers in semi-automatic configuration.
