FIME Group was established in 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Its name stands for Firearms Importer Manufacturer Exporter, and it was the United States importer for Molot of Russia, which built the Vepr line of rifles and shotguns. Import of Molot products ended in June 2017 when an existing importation ban was expanded to cover anything shipped from the Molot factory. Rifles brought in under the FIME name include the Vepr FM-AK47 in 7.62x39 and the RPK-pattern RPK74 in 5.45x39.
