The FIME Group VEPR RRK47 is a 7.62x39mm semi-automatic rifle built on the VEPR platform, which uses a heavier RPK-pattern receiver compared to a standard AK. Gas piston operation, a chrome-lined hammer-forged barrel, and an all-steel construction are the defining characteristics.

Detailed Features
The gas piston system keeps fouling out of the receiver, which makes cleaning somewhat easier than a direct impingement design. The chrome lining extends barrel life and tolerates sustained fire well. The muzzle nut uses left-hand 14x1mm threads, so standard AK muzzle devices thread on directly. The rear sight is a 1000-meter leaf with adjustable windage. Black polymer furniture and a folding trap-door stock round out the package, along with a cleaning kit and cleaning rod included from the factory.
Usage
The 23.2-inch barrel gives the RRK47 a velocity advantage over carbine-length VEPR variants and makes it a reasonable hunting or long-range plinking option in 7.62x39. At 8.3 lbs. it's heavier than most AK-pattern rifles, a real consideration for field carry. The heavier receiver does absorb recoil noticeably, and the platform accepts standard AK accessories for lights, optics, and grips.
