Ruger
Ruger (Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.) has manufactured firearms in the United States since 1949, founded by William B. Ruger and Alexander McCormick Sturm. The company produces pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns for hunting, sport shooting, personal defense, and tactical use.
The revolver lineup includes the GP100 and Blackhawk series. Semi-automatic pistols include the SR1911, LCP, and Ruger MAX-9, the latter popular for concealed carry. The 10/22 is a widely used rimfire rifle, and the Ruger American Rifle covers centerfire bolt-action needs. Tactical models include the Mini-14 series and the AR-556.
