The Browning Citori 825 Sporting Golden Clays is a 12 gauge over/under shotgun built for sporting clays, with a 30-inch barrel set and an adjustable comb for repeatable bead alignment. A Pro Balance System fine-tunes the swing and mount, and the Golden Clays trim pairs a gloss oil walnut stock with a silver nitride receiver, gloss blued barrels, scroll engraving, and gold accents.

Owners of the Citori 825 Sporting Golden Clays tend to praise the wood-to-metal fit and the smoothness of the break-action operation, and many call the silver nitride receiver and scroll engraving a clear step up from Browning's standard Citori line. A few note that a finish this nice asks for more care to keep the walnut and blued barrels looking sharp.

On the clays field, the adjustable comb and Pro Balance System come up often. Shooters who take the time to fit the stock find the gun mounts fast and swings smoothly through the target line, though some first-time owners say the adjustable comb takes a bit of trial and error to set.

Value opinions vary. Buyers who want a dedicated sporting gun with a full set of extended chokes and the Triple Trigger System see it as a strong package, while more budget-minded shooters point out that the Golden Clays trim carries a premium over a base Citori 825 for the added cosmetics.
