Owners of the Citori 825 Sporting Golden Clays generally like the fit and finish, and the checkered walnut stock and silver nitride receiver get regular mention as nicer than a base-grade Citori. Some note the gloss blued barrels show fingerprints and need wiping down after handling.

For clays use, the adjustable comb and Pro Balance System are the most-cited features, since a proper stock fit makes a real difference in how consistently the gun mounts and swings. A handful of owners say getting the comb height dialed in the first time takes patience.

Opinions on value split depending on what buyers compare it to. Shooters focused on sporting clays who want the Triple Trigger System and a properly fitted comb see the Golden Clays as worth the step up, while others feel the trim upgrades cost more than they add over a standard Citori 825.
