Owners of over/under shotguns like the Citori CX tend to comment first on fit and balance, since a break-action gun lives or dies by how naturally it swings and shoulders. The walnut stock and steel receiver typically draw praise for looks and heft, and left-hand shooters specifically appreciate finding a factory left-hand configuration instead of having to special-order one.

On the clays course, feedback on Browning over/unders in this class usually centers on how the recoil pad and stock dimensions handle repeated shooting. A well-fit stock with a padded recoil system tends to stay comfortable through a long day, though some shooters find the factory drop and length of pull need adjustment for their build before the gun points naturally.

On value, Browning's Citori line has a reputation for durability and resale value among shotgun owners, and buyers of the CX variant generally echo that. The common complaint is more about the screw-in choke tubes needing occasional cleaning to pattern consistently, rather than anything mechanical with the action itself.
