Detailed Features
The FFT construction produces a stock that is light, stiff, and field-durable. The TriggerTech trigger has a smooth pull with a short reset point. The baffle brake is doing meaningful work at this carry weight with the .300 RUM's recoil impulse. The free-floating carbon fiber-wrapped barrel maintains consistent harmonics regardless of how the rifle is carried or rested. The drilled and tapped receiver accepts standard scope bases.
Target Audience
Hunters who specifically want .300 RUM performance for larger game at long distance and are willing to manage the recoil in exchange for the ballistic advantage. Right-hand action.
Usage Scenarios
The .300 RUM pushes heavy .30-caliber bullets faster than most standard magnum cartridges, which extends effective range on big game. The 5.3 lb carry weight makes backcountry applications practical, though the recoil at that weight is something to prepare for.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Not very happy with that this is an expensive rifle so i would like to see that not be happening i don't know why we're having ejection issues.
It's a single stage trigger there's literally no perceivable creep or over travel breaks very cleanly.
I think what's happening is it's hitting somewhere up in here denting this and knocking it down so it falls back inside and i'm not sure what's causing that it probably is a manufacturing issue.
Parallax is excellent illumination is excellent glass is excellent um the only complaint i might have is that the magnification dial is just slightly gritty.
It's having ejection issues which is pretty concerning.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Ridgeline FFT .300 RUM draws interest from hunters and precision shooters who specifically want the cartridge's power level in a lightweight package. Accuracy reports are consistently positive, and most owners highlight the carbon fiber construction as the reason they chose this over heavier alternatives. Recoil management is frequently mentioned: most shooters find the combination of baffle brake and rifle design makes it more manageable than the caliber-weight combination would suggest, though it is still a hard-kicking cartridge.
Price generates the predictable debate about value. The .300 RUM caliber is less common than .300 Win Mag or .300 PRC, which means fewer ammunition options and higher cost per round. Customization discussion focuses on optics and bipods. Customer service feedback is mixed, consistent with other Christensen Arms community discussions. Most serious buyers who specifically need .300 RUM capability come away satisfied with the platform's performance.
