Features
The .300 RUM is a large-capacity magnum cartridge with significant long-range energy, and getting it into a 5.3 lb rifle is notable. The carbon fiber-wrapped 416 stainless barrel achieves this weight target while keeping rigidity adequate for the caliber's pressure levels. The 1:10" twist stabilizes the range of bullet weights common in .300 RUM handloads and factory ammunition. TriggerTech gives a clean, adjustable break. The baffle brake is important at this power level and meaningfully reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. No sights included; drilled and tapped for optics.
Who It's For
Hunters targeting very large or dangerous game at distance who want an ultralight platform in a max-performance cartridge. The .300 RUM is not a beginner's caliber, and this rifle suits experienced shooters who understand the cartridge's demands and are willing to manage recoil in exchange for flat trajectory and retained energy at long range.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Not very happy with that this is an expensive rifle so i would like to see that not be happening i don't know why we're having ejection issues.
What you've ended up with is a really nicely balanced gun. It's a bolt-action rifle here that handles well, is accurate, and is a pleasure to shoot.
It's a single stage trigger there's literally no perceivable creep or over travel breaks very cleanly.
I think what's happening is it's hitting somewhere up in here denting this and knocking it down so it falls back inside and i'm not sure what's causing that it probably is a manufacturing issue.
Parallax is excellent illumination is excellent glass is excellent um the only complaint i might have is that the magnification dial is just slightly gritty.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Christensen Ridgeline FFT in .300 RUM draws positive feedback from owners who push the platform at distance, with some consistent practical notes.
Lightweight construction is the defining positive. At 5.3 lbs in a .300 RUM, owners are clear-eyed that this is exceptional for the caliber class and appreciate it for backcountry carry. Accuracy reviews are strong, and the baffle brake's recoil management gets credit for making the .300 RUM's substantial recoil more manageable for longer range sessions.
The price is the most frequently raised concern, with the .300 RUM configuration sitting at the premium end of the already-premium Ridgeline line. Some owners report a break-in period before achieving peak accuracy with their specific barrel and ammunition combination, which is worth noting for buyers expecting optimal performance from round one. Accessory and holster compatibility questions sometimes come up, though less critically than for pistol platforms. Ammunition and component availability for .300 RUM is more limited than for more common magnums, which affects ongoing cost and logistics.
