Detailed Features

• The 22-inch fluted barrel is threaded 11/16-24 and comes with a radial-style muzzle brake.
• The receiver carries a Picatinny rail for direct optic mounting and a matching Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish.
• The trigger is user-adjustable, and an oversized bolt knob makes cycling easier with gloves on.
• The stock is a synthetic, adjustable design in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo.
• The .450 Bushmaster chambering is built for close-range stopping power in a compact bolt-action package.

CVA's Cascade line built a reputation as a budget-friendly bolt action that still runs reliably, and the Cascade XT variant carries that forward with upgraded furniture. The Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish holds up well against scratches for a rifle likely to see rough field use.

The .450 Bushmaster chambering means recoil is a real consideration; owners describe it as manageable with the muzzle brake on but noticeably sharper without it. The Mossy Oak Bottomland stock and Picatinny rail make mounting an optic straightforward, and the oversized bolt knob is appreciated by anyone running the rifle in cold weather with gloves.

Value is where the Cascade XT gets the most praise relative to other bolt guns in its class, though owners note the aftermarket for Cascade-specific stocks and triggers is still smaller than for longer-established platforms.
