The CVA Cascade SR CR3739 is a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered in .450 Bushmaster. It has a 16.5-inch threaded steel barrel with a Graphite Black Cerakote finish, a Picatinny rail on the receiver for mounting optics, and a Realtree Advantage synthetic stock. This configuration favors shooters who want a compact, maneuverable .450 Bushmaster bolt gun set up for optics and a suppressor from the start.

The CVA Cascade line has built a reputation as a budget bolt-action that punches above its price, and the Cascade SR variant gets similar comments: owners like the fit and finish for what they paid, and the action generally runs smoothly out of the box. The .450 Bushmaster chambering appeals to hunters in states with straight-wall cartridge requirements, and most report the rifle handles that recoil without issue given its weight.

The threaded barrel and Picatinny rail are popular with owners who want to add a suppressor and optic right away rather than sending the rifle out for gunsmithing. A common note is that the factory trigger, while adjustable, benefits from some fine-tuning to get it exactly where an owner wants it. The Realtree Advantage stock draws mixed reactions, some like the camo pattern for field use while others would prefer a plainer finish for a lower price.

On value, the Cascade SR is frequently mentioned as a strong option for hunters who do not want to pay premium prices for a threaded, optics-ready bolt gun. Owners planning to run a suppressor on the shorter barrel appreciate that CVA built the rifle around that use case rather than treating it as an afterthought.
