The CVA Cascade SR is a compact bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Remington, built around a 16.5-inch threaded steel barrel and a 4-round magazine. The stock is finished in Realtree Advantac camo with a Graphite Black Cerakote metal finish, giving the rifle a durable, weather-resistant look. Its shorter barrel and threaded muzzle make it a compact, suppressor-ready option in a bolt gun.

Owners of the Cascade line generally say CVA rifles run reliably out of the box and the action cycles smoothly, with the adjustable trigger noted as better than expected for the price bracket.

The compact barrel length makes the Cascade SR easy to maneuver in tight cover, and the camo synthetic stock is liked for blending into hunting terrain, though the lighter weight can make recoil feel sharper for some shooters.

The rifle is frequently mentioned as a budget-friendly way into a threaded-barrel bolt gun, and the Cerakote finish is seen as holding up well to weather. Some owners wish for more factory stock options, though the Cascade platform accepts a range of aftermarket stocks.
