CVA built the Cascade line as an affordable bolt gun, and the XT variant in 6.5 PRC brings that same reputation to a longer-range magnum cartridge. Owners drawn to 6.5 PRC for its flatter trajectory tend to like that CVA offers the chambering without the price jump of a premium custom action, and the adjustable trigger is a frequent highlight for breaking cleanly out of the box.

The longer 24-inch fluted barrel and radial muzzle brake help manage recoil from the PRC cartridge, which matters to shooters spending a day at the bench or in the field. Opinions on the synthetic stock are split, with some owners happy with the adjustable design and Mossy Oak Bottomland finish and others wishing it felt more substantial.

Value is the strongest theme in feedback on this rifle. Buyers frequently compare the threaded barrel, Cerakote finish, and Picatinny rail against pricier 6.5 PRC bolt guns and come away seeing the Cascade XT as a reasonable way into the cartridge without a custom-rifle budget.
