Faxon builds like the Pro draw attention for barrel quality first, since Faxon is best known as a barrel maker before anything else. Owners of the Pro talk about smooth cycling from the superfinished bolt carrier group and generally trust the fit and finish of the black aluminum receiver.

The B5 Systems furniture, stock and grip, gets positive feedback for comfort and adjustability, and the M-LOK handguard leaves plenty of room to mount a light, sling point, or bipod. The 16-inch threaded barrel keeps the rifle balanced for offhand use.

Because .22 ARC is a newer chambering, some owners note that ammunition and magazine choices are more limited than with established calibers, though the AR-15-pattern lower keeps the rest of the platform's aftermarket support intact. Sentiment generally favors the barrel and build quality, with the caliber itself being the main point of curiosity for new buyers.
